Sanlorenzo's asymmetric SL range was a provocation when it launched: delete the portside walkway, push the saloon full-beam, and give the interior the space of a yacht ten feet longer. The SL106A is that idea fully resolved.
The gain is real and measurable. The main-deck saloon in the 106A feels a class larger than its length suggests, with the full-beam master forward benefiting from the same sleight of hand. The single starboard walkway is wide, safe and honestly all you need.
Underway, the SL106A is a proper Sanlorenzo: solid, quiet and confidence-inspiring, with the planing hull delivering the turn of speed the flybridge market expects. The 'A' brings the range's detailing up to the standard of the yard's newest launches.
The verdict: the asymmetric concept is no longer an experiment. In the SL106A it is simply the better way to build a 100-foot flybridge yacht.
