The Ventura 150 is Spectra's watermaker for cruising yachts: a 12-volt DC unit producing 150 gallons per day, or 6.3 gallons (24 litres) per hour.
The efficiency comes from Spectra's Clark pump energy-recovery system, which the maker describes as the reason a 12-volt unit can produce meaningful water volumes. Published power draw is 9 amps at 12 volts, with a 24-volt option at 4.5 amps.
At 150 gallons per day, output covers the daily water use of a typical cruising crew including showers. Manual or automatic control options are offered.
