Oceanco's 96-metre project Draak is emerging from the shed as one of the most architecturally ambitious custom superyachts currently under construction. The design pushes the yard's engineering into new territory, with a profile that breaks decisively from the conservative norms of the large-yacht fleet.
The project follows Oceanco's recent run of headline launches, including the 105-metre Leviathan lineage of technically demanding builds. Draak continues that trajectory: a statement yacht from an owner willing to take design risk at the very top of the market.
For the industry, Draak matters because it tests how far the custom market will follow adventurous design. If the boldest concepts keep finding owners, the next generation of large yachts will look very different from the last.
