Sirena Yachts' 42M is the Turkish builder's statement of intent in the superyacht class: a 42-metre steel hull with aluminium superstructure, five cabins and a stated top speed of 16 knots.
Steel at this size buys the owner two things: the ride quality and sound insulation of real displacement construction, and the charter-market credibility that steel still commands. Five cabins keeps the guest count intimate and the service standard high.
The design is contemporary without chasing fashion, and the engineering package is conventional in the best sense: proven systems, sensible redundancy, honest performance.
The verdict: a serious cruising yacht from a builder on the rise. Steel, space and sense.
