The M6-880X-S is JL Audio's 8.8-inch marine coaxial speaker, sold as a pair for cockpit and flybridge installs. Continuous power handling is 125 watts RMS per speaker.
Published specifications list 90.5 dB sensitivity at 2.83 volts per metre, a frequency response of 38 Hz to 20 kHz, and 4-ohm impedance. The tweeter is a 1.25-inch silk dome.
The marine build uses synthetic polymer baskets with UV-resistant grilles and surrounds, tested against salt fog. JL Audio covers marine speakers with a 3-year warranty.
